Southwind RAS Elburn

Southwind RAS, LLC specializes in recycling of asphalt shingles making use of the removal product containing asphalt that is used in the manufacturing of asphalt pavement. By recycling shingles, Southwind RAS diverts thousands of cubic yards of material from landfills conserving resources and grinding the product into a useable form of material into asphalt products. We provide roofing contractors and haulers and with another method of disposal and assisting in the recycling for other recycling centers with their recycled shingle waste.  This reduces their disposal fees and enhances their public image.
Southwind RAS works directly with end users and asphalt producers to advance the initiative of using reclaimed asphalt shingles in hot mix asphalt. Southwind RAS is a leader in green initiatives, advancing the reuse of recycled products in manufacturing, and in leading the construction world developing new methods for recycling.  We strive to actively participate as good stewards in the group effort we share to improve our environment and to maintain our natural resources.
